National Park #1 - Arches

Provo, UT to Devil's Garden Campground, Arches - 207 Miles

Finally we get to start our tour of the National Parks!  We drove through Utah today to arrive at Arches National Park near Moab Utah.  It was a beautiful drive.

One of the many gas stops!

The same view for many many miles!

Ahhh... Finally!  We arrived in the HEAT of the day!

Rob got us all set up in our little campsite.  It was just perfect!  It backed right up to some amazing rock formations!  But it was H-O-T.  Once we got set up we decided to go on a small hike (when it cooled down just a tad!).  We choose the "Windows" hike.  It was an easy hike and we saw the North and South Window Arches as well as the Turret Arch.  Then we did a return via the primitive trail.

We took the primitive trail back and caught a beautiful moon!

We returned back to our campsite and made dinner!

A great first day at Arches!
